The customer inquiry included a mobile pump on road trailer, which could be used both for pumping contaminated water and wastewater at sewage bypass (eg in emergency or repair sewer lines).
We have selected the pump for the that requirement, we have proposed the proven model Geco Power MPD 6 / 20S.
The maximum capacity of the pump unit is 470m3 / hour, maximum lift height is 26m.
The example nominal duty point is 290m3 / hour. at 1.5bar.
The centrifugal pump unit is assisted by a maintenance-free vacuum pump, which allows quick and repeated self-suction, even from a large depth of 7-8m.
Trailers, pump fittings- suction and discharge hoses with a diameter of 150mm are included. finished with quick connectors type Perrot / Cardan.
There are also 2 suction strainers on the trailer. The first one is a classic suction strainer with holes of 50mm diameter.
When designing a trailer, our attention was drawn to the fact that the box strainer was a heavy component. Therefore, we designed the chassis mounting bracket so that it was possible to place it sideways in a vertical position, and to slide it out of the trailer by just one person (the second would be needed to move the box)
